Title of the map. CARTE De la Coste de la Rochelle a Brouaige et de l’Isle d’Oleron Observee par le Sr de Chattillon ingenieur du Roy. His apprentice was Abraham Bosse. Melchior Tavernier was established with his brother Gabriel in Paris on the pont Marchant. In 1618, he is named engraver and printer in the king.
